Recently the transfer windows has been shaking with news of Oliver Giroud to Chelsea, Batshuayi to BVB and Auba to Arsenal. This chain transfer as I call it my or may not happen. BVB need a striker if they are going to let Aubameyang go for around £55 Million, and Chelsea is willing to let Batshuayi go to Dortmund if Arsenal should release Giroud to Chelsea as a replacement for Batshuayi. Now this is a problem because all three clubs are holding close to their players because if anyone makes the wrong move close to end of the transfer windows, they could end up with no striker at all while the other team could have two or even three strikers 😂😂😂.
Most fans from the three clubs are finding it difficult to understand why their coaches are making such decision to let these strikers go.
From a Chelsea point of view, and the main reason why I titled it The Batshuayi Conundrum, it's quite incomprehensible why Antonio Conte isn't comfortable with Michy Batshuayi as a back up striker when BVB are willing to make him their main striker. Batshuayi this season has scored 10 goals as a Back up while the Main Striker Morata has 12. It doesn't take a genius to know that Batshuayi has alot of quality that BVB are willing to get for free.
The team to end up with a young, agile and accurate Batshuayi would have successfully solved the Batshuayi conundrum
