My river cherries are in full bloom, and they are beautiful! When ripe they are like bing cherries, and picked early they are red and sweet. I got them from Jackson and Perkins, and they are more of a bush than a tree. The fruit grows under the leaves so the birds don't see it. That is a pear tree behind the cherries, if it doesn't freeze, we will have a lot of good fruit this year!
