Game of the Day
Grandmaster Daniel King, born in 1963, has been a professional chess player for more than twenty years. During that time he has represented his country on many occasions, including the historic victory against the Soviet Union in Reykjavik in 1990. At the same time, he has excelled as a coach, helping to take off much of the young English generation. Daniel King also has a well-deserved reputation as a radio, television and Internet commentator. Not to mention his facet of writer: he is the author of more than 15 books of chess, for which he has been awarded.
