Woody Harrelson opened the Chess Worldchampionship 2018 with the wrong move!

Hi Steemians,
the famous actor ("Natural Born Killers") and huge chess fan Woody Harrelson made the ceremonial opening move, but playing 1. d4 instead of 1. e4. Can you imagine Caruana's shock, because he wanted (and had diligently prepared for) to move the King pawn instead of the Queen pawn!

"I'm sorry, I thought you said 1. d4!" Harrelson said to Caurana (but I assume he kidded him).

Of course afterwards the right move was done. But still a quite unusual event.

The picture captures the exact moment. Without knowing this little story you would wonder, why 1. d4 is played when in fact this game was a Sicilian opening (1.e4 c5). Margnus Carlsen (with the black pieces) knew as well, that Caruana wanted 1.e4 - look at his face, hilarious!
