Chibera is hosting a contest that gives you a chance to win a perk rank. This is my entry in it but before I start it, let me explain you what Chibera is.
What is Chibera?
Chibera is a MMORPG that is integrated with Steem blockchain. As you know, Steem is the blockchain that Steemit is using. So this is the game that steemians should try. The game is still under development but they already released a video of the game. This is still low poly since it's just a prototype but they're going to make it 4K game. So you can expect a lot better quality in the future.
In the game, you can play as an adventurer and go into dungeons, kill monsters or even other players like other MMORPGs but what makes Chibera different from other MMO is that, as I mentioned before, it uses blockchain. The game will have an in-game auction house that is connected directly to Steem blockchain which mean you can trade your items and make real money.
What I am most excited about Chibera
I'm excited not because Chibera is going to use a blockchain. I'm excited because Chibera is going to use Steem blockchain as a steemian. Since Steem blockchain is being used by many dApps, I hope the team is going to make the game interact with those dApps like CryptoKitties is making it's universe on Ethereum blockchain. For example, You'll be empowered in the game if you're high rank Steemian, or vice versa.
I'm also excited that they're going to launch the game not only on Windows but also iphone / Android, and even possibly XboxOne and PS4. Since crypto games are still minor, there's not so many players. But expanding the platform to consoles will bring many more players.
I hope Chibera succeeds and make crypto games community bigger and bigger.
