I guess Chicago really doesn't care that there's a war in her streets.
Given the details, I don't buy the mutual combat argument that the prosecutors are making. I'm sure there's somebody here who knows more about this that I do; but, it would seem that mutual combat would more resemble a duel rather than one party taking the other by surprise and opening fire.
Isn't there a reckless endangerment issue here? The police found 70 spend cartridges on the ground before checking the house. It seems like they were spraying bullets in a populated area.
I guess stealing two cars is perfectly kosher, too.
