Chicken Rissoles Recipe!!!

Chicken Rissoles, this is a twist recipe, that has a sweet flavor, its mouth filling and with a nice tomato sauce or mustard sauce on the side with fried chips will be a wonderful dish for any dinner table. this recipe makes about 15 Chicken mince rissoles.

INGREDIENTS

1 kilo of good chicken mince (breast)

3 red onions

3 cloves of garlic ( depends the strength of the garlic, some garlic tend to be stronger than others.

2 carrots (good size carrots not small ones)

2 red capsicum.

Two eggs.

bread crumbs enough to cover our risoles.

Mediterranean flour ( this flour feels very grainy and has small tiny particles in comparison to normal plain flour that feels like powder.

3 tablespoons of oregano.

2 tablespoons of thyme.

2 tablespoons of rosemary.

PREPARATION

The first thing we need to do is get a big stainless steel bowl and we place our chicken mince risoles.

we get a shredder tool, preferably one that shreds very thin pieces rather than big chunks.

we shred 3 red onions, 2 carrots, 2 red capsicum, we crush the cloves of garlic and we place all these 3 ingredients

into our bowl with our chicken mince.

Add the 3 tablespoons of oregano, 2 tablespoons of thyme, 2 tablespoons of rosemary, we add salt and pepper to our liking. crack the 2 eggs and use only the egg yolks and we place them in the same bowl.

Now, get ready to take your frustrations out, blend all these ingredients for about 5 minutes,make sure all the ingredients are all spread evenly with our mince mix.

At this stage it will feel very sticky and has a watery texture, this is where the bread crumbs come to the rescue. we add the bread crumbs til the texture of the chicken feels solid and not so sticky and watery and we constantly mix them til we get a solid texture.

we get a smaller bowl and add our flour,

we grab a handful of mince with one of our hand and we roll

in into a ball til it feels round,

then we press it with both our hands to flatten it,

and we then dip it in the

flour and set it aside on a platter.

We do this procedure til we use all of our chicken mince mix.

COOKING

get your best fry pan, add your vegetable or any oil that you have around your house

apart from the oil we use in salads. use about 2 – 3 cups of oil into the fry pan,

Assuming your fry pan is tall.

set your stove top to high temperature, and let the oil cook for about 7-8 minutes, or til you start

smelling the oil cooking.

we then dip in our chicken mince risoles into our fry pan,

and we close it with a lid if you have,

and let it cook for 4-5 minutes on each side til they get a golden brown color.
