Chicken Shit Sunday - Fourth Edition

Lookin' for love in all the wrong places...

Things have been slow here on the homestead. It has been very hot and very dry. The chickens are still cooped up until the extra roosters leave. It's a pretty redneck set up right now. A large dog kennel with our chicken coop against it and a little door they can get from the "yard" to the coop. Plus two open plastic barrels with straw if they want to hang out in there as well as lots of places to roost or just to get away from Foghorn Leghorn, the mean rooster.

This is another special edition of Chicken Shit Sunday as I have Mr. @pennsif contributing again and a newcomer, Mr. @fishyculture! I wrote about Mr. @pennsif and his flock of birds in last week's edition of the newsletter here.

Without further ado, here is what you came for!

According to @fishyculture, "I had scarcely stepped out the door when my roo came to see if I might have any treats on me. Finding me empty handed, he turned and pooped at me. I quickly took my cell phone and captured the moment before he could stroll away. Alas! My autofocus is, well, shitty, so the turd was blurred..."
