I refuse to believe that Peter Pan Syndrome is some illness as the term 'syndrome' gives. Not only that it's not recognized by WHO and not accepted in the DSM-V, but on the contrary, I see it as the best way to spend this one brief stay here.
Life's primary essence is to exist. And what is more pleasurable, carefree, happier, wild and free stage than childhood!
It is NOT living a life of neglect though. Keep the accountabilities and responsibilities in check—adolescent, collegiate, adult, whatever they may be, but once they're done with, it's never a trouble getting back to being a child and be happy and carefree!
Worry not if the humdrum monochromatic society look down on you. Color your world while you're at it. Don't kill the Peter Pan in you.
Stay safe and happy everyone. Steem on!
