Some say it is culture and tradition, others says it is religious. But any enlightened individual knows this a barbaric act, dangerous to the female health and that of the economy of the specified community.

Child marriage had been estimated to cost developing countries Trillions of Dollars by 2030 if nothing is done to hinder this system. The WHO- World Health Organization's work on promoting gender equality and ending child marriage across the world is not just morally right but economically smart says a WHO envoy to Africa and Asia.

Third World countries and some fragment of South America engaged in this barbaric act of getting married to a minor, who is not above the social age of becoming self sufficient. The chart below put into perspective some of this countries:

It is strongly believed that keeping girls in school is the best way to end child marriage and enable girls to compete in the economical future of any nation. Some of this girls are so bright, but their aspirations are dashed immediately they assumed woman-hood at a very tender age.

Ending Child Marriage also contributes to Women having fewer children and later in life increases women's expected earnings and house hold welfare.
