I have 3 DAUGHTERS - When will the DRAMA END? HELP!!!

in children •  8 years ago

My girls, Ayanna 6, Nasya 5, and Athalia 2. Yes, Many of you know that I have 3 daughters. This is still a World I am trying to figure out? Have been raised as the youngest of 3 boys you can imagine. So, when I'm home I hear fighting, screaming, cheerful playing, singing, crashing of glass on the floor sometimes, spilled water/milk/juice everyday, and at least 1000 questions every minute. Can anyone out there relate? In life I waited to the prime age of 40 to get married. I am now 48 and trying to "parent" as best I can. At first I was scared to death. I'll never forget my first daughter being born. She was born 5 pounds and very small. I remember I didn't want to leave the hospital with her because I didn't know how to milk a baby, or change a diaper. Of course I learned pretty fast.

Now that the kids are growing up I find its more work then when they were babies. Sometimes I wonder if I will make it to see them graduate high school. ha.IMG_0407.JPG

Anyway, does anyone have any amusing stories to tell about your children? I enjoy reading about drama in other peoples lives. Gives me encouragement. To all parents out there... KEEP STEEMING !!!

Looks like you both need a vacation and a baby sitter for next couple years at least !

They can be a handful lol

My hats off to you. What a shock that must be. Quite to smash, crash, scream, slam, shout, break, ouch, help, all at once. Good Luck.

Beautiful children. Spend as much time answering all those questions they ask. I have 6 children myself under 8 years old. Time flies also, treasure each moment as I am sure you do, and give them wonderful experience together as a family so they may remember when older. Children are little people, who will grow to be your friends someday if encouraged properly.

6 under 8? My hats totally off to you MASTER. WOW! Thanks for the kinds words. Great advice. Cheers.

Yay! Very relatable. I feel you, @crowe. They never leave you alone. Talk to you all the time, ask questions. You have to look at them when talking back - undivided attention please! 😂😅
However I try my very best to give them all the attention I can give for I know that there will come a time when they would want full independence. 😊
