Let's come back home to the earth! Let's come back to a wellness approach to health. We are meant to be in full harmony with elements, we are meant to eat whole unprocessed foods, and we are meant to know that food is thy medicine. However here we are in the 21st centry with childhood obesity at its all time high. In the US alone the food pyramid is wildly created to point you to early onset diabetes and heart conditions with meat and dairy suggestions. Get a hold of the movie : WHAT THE HEALTH" to be opened up to hard facts and truth! It is up to you to get informed and come back to what is basic simple and of solid wellness state.
So what to do! Well here are 6 tips that I find to be the core of what I teach my children and other children that I meet!
Tips to come back home to true wellness with gifts of the earth:
1-Eat whole foods from seeds you grow! Get your child in the kitchen with you early as you can and show them how to prep foods from the earth. Show them the amazing colors that come from the earth, make your meals balanced with a full spectrum of RAINBOW Colors.
2-Plant a garden with your children. Show them that dirt does not hurt. We need all the exposures that is given to strengthen our immune systems, and to keep the garden balanced. Make a ritual out of weeding the garden and watering her. Show your child the fun that can be had when exploring the stages of growth and tending her balanced state. When it is time to harvest, do so daily and add the fruits and veggies to your meals.
3-Let your child play in the elements, trust in the power of their immune systems. Keep them in touch with the real, and they will never be bored.
4-Share your garden with others and be open to what you don't have coming from your neighbor's garden.
5-Use crystals, herbs and essential oils for healing facilitation when an imbalance arrives. And learn what that crystal, herb, and essential oil has to teach the child emotionally. Help your child listen within and help them by asking them good questions that stimulate them to reach within and feel why they are out of balance.
6-Let your children go BAREFOOT! This will keep them in touch with the mother earth, and help them feel new levels of grounded-ness with the earth being their largest home. Not to mention earthly barefoot is an instant way to balance us all electrically and magnetically.
From one parent to another, I wish you true wellness, and I wish you peace on your journey. Remember your children are a reflection of you at the age you were at any given time. Meaning when they are 6 and going through an imbalance of any kind there is a message and reflection from when you were 6, so go within and see what you inner child needed then, and then give that to your child now.
