Dear diary ( children on board) - I'm not sure which chapter yet, #13

Dear diary,

Conversations between children and parents are a funny thing. A wise woman told me once that is crucial parents keep conversations with children honest and open. So children know there's always a safe space and adult they can trust.
It's hardwork and a ton of patience.
Sometimes, I snap!
Sometimes, my children are the grownups and I'm the child.

This was a text conversation between me and my daughter tonight.

She's 10, I'm 55

All she wanted to do was say goodnight to her crazy mother

It's never that simple between parent and child sometimes. Especially, when the parent insists of behaving like a child...

So the child decided to end the conversation this way...

And had wise words for her mummy...

I said goodnight after that.
