The kids enjoy the sight of the gargantuan Chinese fishing nets or cantilevered cheenavalas, hanging from bamboo poles and teakwood, that are seen off the Vasco da Gama Square.
In Cochin…
In Cochin, the kids receive a call from Mr. Joseph who tells them that he knows about their mission even though they had hidden it from him.
James is the person who attended the call.
Mr. Joseph: Why didn’t you all tell me earlier about your mission, James? I would have helped you guys.
James: Sorry, sir. Sir, how did you get to know about our mission? Did Viky tell you about it?
Mr. Joseph: No, I came to know through another source.
James: Who, sir?
Mr. Joseph: I’ll tell you when the right time comes.
After visiting the Chinese harbour, the kids visit the famous LuLu mall. They enjoy their time at the LuLu mall which is the largest mall in India. It contains about 300 outlets, including restaurants, food courts, family entertainment zones, ice skating rink, a multiplex, a toy train fun ride, beauty parlors, bowling alley, and gaming arena.
When they are in the LuLu mall…
A person comes to meet them at the mall.
He seems to be in his thirties and he is wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
The man (to all of them): Guys, I am Pradeep and I work in JSB bank. I know that you all are trying to solve the problem that your school is facing. You have to stop your school from being sold, at any cost. Shekhar was originally a rogue before becoming a politician and he doesn’t deserve to be a politician at all. Now, he wants another office, that too, in a mall which people visit often. I don’t know what he is planning.
Rina: That is one thing we should be concerned about, sir. But what we are more worried about is: what cunning work are they planning to make our Principal sell the school building? This is because we know that they can’t make him sell the building through any honest means.
Mr. Pradeep: Yes, I know that too. I also don’t know their cunning plan but I know one thing for sure. They are using some sort of maudlin game with her. I’ve noticed the Principal get really nervous whenever I talk to her about them.
