I do believe that a woman has a stronger word over keeping a baby or not because it's her who carries it. But the decision should be unanimous between a couple. It's not fair to make one parent (whether it be a man or a woman) pay for childcare when you (the other parent) don't do anything to support your child. Children are a two-people "project"!
