My Saturday Afternoon Visit to Umhlanga Rocks Beach

in chilling •  3 years ago

The purpose of this post is to share my recent beach visit. I will use pictures to ‘paint a thousand words.
On the 16 October 2021 I went to chill at the Umhlanga Rocks beach on the Northern side of our home city of Durban. Everything was still relatively calm, seeing a thunderstorm was almost 3 hours away.

Arriving just as the sky was preparing for the thunderstorm that are typical for this time of the year.

Relaxation time is limited, but enjoy every bit of it.

The waves were still calm and very promising.

Well, well, suddenly the thunderstorm landed. And I ran for cover here:

The storm caused an abrupt ending to both my visit and my story. Let’s try next time.
