China's smartphone sales decline in the last quarter

Market analyst Canalis said in a new study that compared to the same quarter last year, smartphone sales fell 21 percent in the first quarter this year.

Chinese customers bought 9.1 million smartphones in the first quarter of 2014. In the fourth quarter of 2013, the number of smartphones sold in the past was called, in CNN's report.

Kannis analyst Mohammad Zia said, "The idea of ​​reducing the sale had already been detected by the Canalis but could not reduce it so much."

Zia further said, "We think the sale will reduce in the Chinese market in the year 2018."

Samsung has recently recorded a record amount of revenue in one quarter. 52 percent of the company's revenue increased compared to the same quarter last year. But due to the collapse of smartphone sales in China, the company may lose revenue later on.

Already smartphone sales in China have had a slower impact on Samsung. In the first quarter of 2012, the company has sold only 2 million smartphones in China, which is half of the previous year.

Apple has also lost its position in the Chinese market. Canalis said that the fourth position in the Chinese market was taken to fifth position in the US technology giant company. However, Apple did not tell the amount of Apple iPhone sold in this quarter, the company said.

On the other hand, the sales in the first quarter increased by two percent, the country's local smartphone maker Huawei said. The company also holds the top position in the country's market. The next locations are Appo, Vivo and Xiaomi.

Shiaomi, the only company to take the two-digit growth rate in the first quarter. In comparison to the previous year, sales of the company increased 37 percent in China in the quarter.
