China has quite an obsession with gaming, in England I would feel like a bit of a dork if I played computer games every night in my late 20's but here in China it's the norm and most men play almost everynight. It's pretty cool though as I think nobody wants to grow up and stop playing games really, but we feel like we're to old and need to act more grown up. Here in China you can go about your business in the day time and then go to the very popular internet cafe's in the evenings!
I just moved to my girlfriend's hometown and we're currently living at her sister's house until we get sorted, her brother and brother in law go to the internet cafe everynight to play playerunknowns battleground (or as they call it 'eat chicken') sometimes they stay until the next morning!
I think my English friends would be pretty jelous as there wifes/girlfriends would probably go crazy!
The internet cafes are a strange enviroment with men shouting as they're killed or just people getting abit too excited so they get pretty loud! (most places in China are loud anyway haha)
I'm not a huge gamer myself but I enjoy playing every now and then..... but I don't like playing here very much as most people take the games to serious and it's not very fun for me so I'll stick to gaming by myself at home as it's a bit more chilled out for China :D
