On Monday the Higher People's Court of Hebei introduced a program on WeChat called "a map of deadbeat debtors", which allows users to track the location of debtors within 500 meters of them.
In the app you are able to check the information of any debtors which appear on the app such as their names, phone numbers, social media accounts and addresses. Rewarding users for reporting debtors who look capable of paying their debts via China's borderline dystopian social credit system.
"It's a part of our measures to enforce our rulings and create a socially credible environment," said a spokesman of the court.
