The huge amount of cash hidden in the "supermarket" was only part of Lai Xiaomin's illegal proceeds. In addition to cash, he also received a large amount of real estate, luxury cars, watches, gold, paintings and calligraphy, totaling more than RMB 1,788 million, of which more than 104 million had not been actually obtained and was an attempted crime. Among the 22 bribery offences, three of them involved bribery offences amounting to over RMB200 million, RMB400 million and RMB600 million respectively, and another six involved bribery offences all amounting to over RMB40 million.
