This is a very interesting article on China and the trade war between the US and China:

I consider myself a proponent of free trade. Due to the mind-boggling policies of China (theft, fraud, military aggression) I think the countermeasures of the US resp. Trump commensurate. In the best case China will get educated in how to behave appropriately within the international community. But as the author points out this outcome is not very likely.
A country building concentration camps for its citizens cannot be tolerated, even as a trading partner.
In my opinion the appeasement towards China in the last decades has to be stopped by the US and Europe. The mistakes made from Western Europe and the US during the 1930s against Nazi-Germany should not be repeated.
What's your opinion?
