Because Chinese production of solar has been subsidized, Americans have been able to buy solar panels at costs below what American companies must charge to cover their costs. The ad below says this is bad, because it harms American workers. Nonsense. There are not 900,000 Americans who could take those jobs.
If anyone has been harmed, it is the Chinese people who pay the taxes that fund the subsidies. A humanitarian might seek ways to help them.
The easiest way is to let the Chinese people who are making solar panels move to the US.
