Why stickers and chips that promise to protect you from the radiation emitted by the phone are useless!

More and more people believe that the new stickers produced by some big companies in Germany or Usa can protect our body from the radiation of our phones, but until now nobody could really confirm it.

So the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has fined two manufacturers of such devices for promoting products whose benefits have not been demonstrated. In addition, in 2011 the FTC launched a warning to attract consumers' attention to this scam.

Now I'll explain why it's a scam. First, there is no serious study demonstrating that these devices are effective.

The phones actually emit radiation.

Electromagnetic radiation is of several types, and some are truly harmful to living organisms. However, the radiation emitted by a mobile device is not dangerous and is much weaker than that generated by other surrounding objects. This "dangerous radiation" many people fear is the way the mobile phone communicates with the tower on which the closest cell of the telecom network is. Any attempt to inhibit it may affect the performance of the device (signal or connection to the mobile Internet). So if these devices really worked, they would destroy an important function of a phone.
