Thor lost his eye during the final battle with Hela in Thor: Ragnarok but the convention trailers and promo art for Avengers: Infinity War have shown the God of Thunder without his eyepatch. As a result, there's been a lot of speculation that the hero will somehow regain his vision but it turns out that it all boils down to Marvel wanting to keep that plot point under wraps and it later being added with CGI.
In a new interview, Chris Hemsworth has revealed that wearing the practical eyepatch was a nightmare and confirms that the one we'll see in Avengers: Infinity War is going to be added in post-production.

It's important to remember that while the eyepatch looks cool, the amount of stunts done by Hemsworth means that a CGI version was the only realistic option. It is, however, interesting that Marvel didn't just choose to get rid of the straps in post or come up with an easier to use real one. However, both of those could have hindered the actor's performance, so the studio probably ended up making the best choice. What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments section down below.
