When Cornell joined the Shemps, Yamamoto was playing bass; he subsequently quit and was replaced by Thayil.

They do not believe, under any stretch of the imagination, Bennington committed suicide.
The rushed, initial assessment of suicide by the lead officer on scene (and according to the incident report without a the presence of a suicide note), caused the wheels of justice for the Bennington family to immediately come to a grinding halt.
Officer Aaron Belda the lead officer and first on-scene made a definitive and seemingly deliberate decision to label Bennington’s death as a suicide, based on the visual circumstances and inside of 11 minutes. In turn, the decision to call the fire department and the chaplain without even conferring with homicide detectives immediately excluded the possibility of investigating potential foul play at the scene of Bennington’s death.

This resonates with me and I'm sure others who understand and have experienced similar trials Chester went through. He and Chris Cornell were working on a movie together called the Silent Children, then Chris died a few months prior to Chester and here Chester dies on Chris' b-day?
