The example of Christ: Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. Philippians 2:15-16

The Epistle to the Philippians was a text written by the apostle Paul to the Church of Philippi, most likely during his third missionary journey. In this letter, the apostle wrote affectionately to the believers of this church among other things about the example of Christ, who is the light and the spiritual guide for all those who fear God with their hearts.
It should be noted that Paul, when he founded this Church, suffered many inconveniences, even receiving lashes in prison for testifying to the Lord Jesus.
And giving an example of the commandment of love (Agape), which does not hold grudges and is always ready to forgive (1 Corinthians 13:7), the apostle of the Gentiles spoke about the importance of persevering in the construction of the Kingdom of God, the dominion or empire of God's perfections, in the world, as he explained in the epistle with great wisdom: "Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence— continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose" Philippians 2:12-13.
Because through Christ believers are saved and justified and shine like great lights in a world full of darkness, the apostle continued explaining:
"Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, ´children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.´ Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain", Philippians 2:14-16.
Because it is from this, the apostle concluded his thought, that true Christian joy is born.
