The mystical teachings of Christ: "So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath", Mark 2:28

Jesus is presented to us in the gospels as the personification of the good news: "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.", Matthew 3:2. This is why he is the "son of man", he is the mercy, the righteousness itself. Although it is not expressed in a direct way, it is implied that God is represented by three persons in the gospels. Jesus is the second person of the holy trinity together with the Father and the holy spirit, the three are a unique wisdom as Thomas Aquinas explains.
Jesus as the personification of wisdom, as the "son of man" explains to us that wisdom in a practical sense is superior to the law of Moses, Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath: "So the Son of Man is the Lord of the Sabbath", Mark 2:28.

Moses' law teaches the fourth commandment: "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God." Exodus 20:8. Jesus cannot fulfill all the prescriptions of the Law, the Law is a heavy burden that takes us away from the Kingdom of God, the empire of mercy, the government of the fear of God, the domain of perseverance: "One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grainfields, and as his disciples walked along, they began to pick some heads of grain. The Pharisees said to him, ´Look why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?.", Mark 2:23-24.
The kingdom of God announced by Jesus Christ is a mystical domain, it is living according to the freedom of the spirit, because those who imitate Jesus as his disciples, are free from the prescriptions of the Law. Jesus as a spiritual leader opposes priests, religions sometimes become factors of oppression for common people. This is in essence the background of the message.
