Sanctification is the work of grace or cleansing, It is the work we do ourself.
It means to set apart, set apart yourself as a living sacrifice.
You consciously run away from sin
To be set apart for the things of God.
It has to be done till death comes.
To run away from sins.
How to be sanctified
By the word of God: when you read the word of God at all times.
Through the blood of Jesus
Through fervent prayers Mathew 5:6, Ps 51:10
The baptism of the Holy Spirit
Every believer must be baptised with power of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
You need the power of God, Holy Spirit is the spirit of God.
Reasons to speak in tongues
It is a sign of baptism of the Holy Spirit
It is a spiritual edification for a believer
It makes you aware of the spirit of God in You
It helps you to trust God totally
It build up your faith
It makes us free from contamination from the world
It stirs our heart to pray
It helps us to give thanks to God always
It build our body in Christ.
