God has always used the weak to confound the strong. Though we are weak and beset at all sides, if we have faith and cry out to God He will hear our voices and answer our prayers. We have provision of spiritual nourishment available to us in abundance. Jesus is our high priest, our advocate with the Father, and He will pour into us all the necessary faith, strength, wisdom, love, and power we need to reach a lost generation. We cannot sit back and wallow in our lack. It is precisely this circumstance that should lead us to plead for the intervention of God, the full measure of the Holy Spirit, and for the name of Jesus to be glorified in our lives. Don't hold back!
2 Kings 4:1-2
A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.”
So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”
