When it comes to marketing products, there are numerous companies that claim to be "Christian-owned". As a Christian, I often wonder why they would bother doing business with me when my religion teaches that the products of man can never satisfy God. When someone is doing business with you based on what you say rather than what you do, it makes no sense to me at all.
It's like marketing to someone that just wants to make a buck by using your product. They don't care if you answer their prayers, they don't care about your life's mission, and they certainly don't care about you as a person. If you are going to market products to such people then you must be aware of what they really want in their lives.
Once you understand what their true message is and what they really want in their lives, you can use Christian marketing to bring the true message of God to them. As Christians, we have been called to share the love of God with all people. You can't do this when you are simply marketing a product to sell.
In order for Christian marketing to work, you must first find a person who has an unchangeable desire in Him. What they need is the Holy Spirit in their lives. They need to know that He can deliver the messages of the Holy Bible to them in an effective way. They need someone who will listen to them and teach them how to apply these messages to their lives.
Once you have found the one person who is willing to teach them and guide them through the application of their unchangeable desire, the next thing that you need to do is tell them the true message that you want them to hear. This is where you can put into writing what you want them to know about Jesus Christ.
Once they have this written down and memorized, you must then go ahead and share this information with them. When they understand that they have been given the true Word of God, and this is the person who has received the Word of God, then they will be more apt to follow the teachings that you have given them.
Now, I know that there are Christian marketing companies out there that claim to have all the answers to your prayers. But do they really have the answer to what is in the heart of your Christian customer? I don't think so.
