My name is Kenny Kwong from Hong Kong. I am a Christian teacher of science.
My interests are diversified: Physics interests me; Theology enlightens me; Education empowers me; Music amuses me; Finance challenges me. Hiking and swim are my favourite sports activities. My bachelor degree in Physics was completed in The Chinese University of Hong Kong and my master degree in Christian Communication was obtained from The Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary. My Postgraduate Certificate in Education was completed in The University of Hong Kong from which I also received a Certificate in Investment under the School of Professional and Continuing Education. Moreover, I got a High Certificate in Music from Hong Kong International Institute of Music as well.
It is my vision to help make disciples of Jesus Christ in the younger generation of this age in Hong Kong through missionary work in the school as follows: -
- Transmission of biblical values verbally and non-verbally inside and outside of the classroom environment in daily contexts, especially at the turning points of students’ lives, so that they may draw near to the Heavenly Father and find their roots in the church of Christ; and
- Facilitation of learning of socially constructed knowledge in a constructivist approach in light of interesting sets, thought-stimulating questions, tailored-made materials and information technology, with continuous reflection upon ways to make further progress in the teaching profession under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
The key is to pray for students and myself continually in the Spirit and work collaboratively with other colleagues in the Lord taking the opportunity of social interaction as a way of motivating students intrinsically to follow Christ and to construct knowledge so that they may achieve a balanced development spiritually, intellectually, socially and physically, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
