Psalm 29:11
Peace is one of the greatest blessing a person can be blessed with but unless you know it's worth, you may not wholly appreciate it.
Like the roof of a house prevents the sun and the rain from beating the occupants of the house, peace also protects anxiety and fear from entering into ones heart. Every trouble, trial or need come to break the barrier of peace so anxiety and fear can enter. For this reason, Paul said in Philippians 4:6 that what God gives us when we make our requests known to him is not necessarily the requests we asked for but peace. This is because as long as ones peace is wholesome, no amount of want or need is discomforting.
According to Jeremiah 29:11, all the thoughts of God towards His children are to the end that they will have peace. Peace is such a great treasure and it is this peace that God promises to bless His people with in today's verse and we all must embrace it in much appreciation.
LIFE APPLICATION
Cherish peace because it is one of the greatest assets you can ever have.
