Christian-Trail Morning Prayer August 26 - 2017

Greetings fellow Steemians.

Will you join us in prayer?

"Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matthew 26:41

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." Matthew 5:44

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, and we thank You for this new day to draw near to You and serve You. Father, Your Word tells us that we should watch and pray so that we will not enter into temptation. Oh Lord, help us to abide in You, for in You we can be overcomers. We know that our flesh is weak, and we thank You that You are our strength.
Lord help us to love our enemies Just as You love us, for while we were yet sinners You died for us. Truly there is no greater love than the love that You have for us. Help us to love others even as You love us, and to pray for others just as You prayed, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.”

Lord, please bless each person praying with us today. Bless them in everything they put our hands to for Your glory. Let Your joy and peace rest on our hearts and minds even as we pray for others. Lead us and guide us in all that we do and say. We glorify Your Holy Name, and we thank You for hearing our prayers.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray,
