Matthew 26:39 - Read it - Jesus is a Prophet!

Well I`m glad you know of Matthew 26:39.

Usually in London when I get approached by preachers in London. I always ask them to describe what it means for them?

They have no answer. I just don`t understand why certain preachers cannot recite the Bible by heart. They cannot answer from within themselves always rely on the Bible to confirm their unknown knowledge.

I can't speak for other preachers but I hope you read the whole Bible and you don't cherry pick from it like the devil does in order to deceive people. In the book of Matthew, Jesus is clearly identified as the Son of God as well and not just a Prophet. Consider reading Matthew 16:13-20.

Aren't we all children of God? What makes the Son of God special over prophets?

The son of God, does it means God?

Does the trinity really make any sense at all?

The bible isn't direct on whether Jesus claims to be God or not.

Islam acknowledges Jesus as a prophet and believe that he will return to save us.

No. We aren't all children of God. God adopts children through the Cross and even then the difference between the children that God adopts vs. Jesus Christ is that Jesus Christ never sinned. Whether something makes sense to you or not does not determine whether it's true or false. You should check out the fallacy of personal incredulity. There are many passages in the Bible that Jesus directly claims to be equal with God and that's the main reason Jews wanted to kill him because he was calling God his Father, making himself equal with God! If you don't like what Jesus said and taught, you don't have to fall for a fake Jesus that was introduced 600 years after the real Jesus, and 600 miles away from where the real Jesus was born, and crucified!

For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God. ◄ John 5:18

The bible should be consistent in its teaching, therefore cherry picking should not be a problem lest the bible contradicts itself which happens to be a very clear observation.

It only contradicts itself if you start with false assumptions and assume that you know everything about God and then say things like "Trinity doesn't make any sense." You should really check the fallacy of personal incredulity... You will be no different from an atheist who says if there is a God why do children get cancer and God doesn't answere our prayers? It doesn't make sense so we're gonna become atheist...

It only contradicts itself if you start with false assumptions and assume that you know everything about God and then say things like "Trinity doesn't make any sense."

It does not make sense or is illogical. I'm saying it as it is. You too know it does not make sense but accept it. So how do we figure out right from wrong if we blindly accept something we were taught from birth? I can't be like , "ohh well, it doesn't make sense but I believe it anyways". It is with that same "believe anything" concept new extremists are recruited and are content with what they do. They believe that what they are doing is for the best; without question.

Regarding the Trinity, here are some of the major contradiction as quoted from the bible:

Jesus words: “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” (Matt. 26:39).

“I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” (John 20:17)

Jesus words: “the Father is greater than I” (John 14:28)

It's not blind faith. Jesus rose from the dead and proved that He was telling the truth. If you don't like what He said and taught, it's okay but making up an imaginary character called Isa, isn't gonna somehow make you wise. On the contrary, it will turn you into a fool who blindly believes someone who came 600 years after Jesus and contradicted everything Jesus taught and died and is still in his tomb unlike Jesus who rose from the dead and proved Himself. None of those verses contradict Trinity. They only affirm it. You seem to like the book of John. Read all of it and don't cherry pick and if you could explain everything in it without Trinity, you might be able to convince me I'm wrong.

Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?◄ John 14:9

Speaking of cherry picking, let's try it with the Quran a bit. The author of Quran thought that Trinity is Allah + Jesus + Mary. No Christian sect has ever defined Trinity as Allah + Jesus + Mary. All Trinitarians have based their definition of Trinity on what the Bible teaches which is Father + Son + Holy Spirit. Furthermore, the author of Quran claims that Jews say Ezra is the Son of God and Christians say that Jesus is the Son of God. Yet there has never been a Jew that has claimed such a thing ever. There are many internal contradictions with the Quran as well. It commands Christians to judge the Quran based on the Gospel and yet claims that the Gospel is corrupted. Why command us to judge by a corrupted book? Why not just tell us to throw what we have away and blindly believe in the Quran? Is it not because that common sense says that if God preserves His revelations, He must preserve all of them otherwise no one will be able to prove anything? The story of corruption was made up after Muslims encountered real Christians who schooled them and showed them that there's nothing in the Torah or the Gospel that lines up with Muhammad's teachings... so Muslims decided to come up with a lie and accuse both Jews and Christians of corrupting the previous revelations of God... and when that didn't work, they decided to write a fake gospel in the 16th century called the gospel of barnabas but they messed that one up too and in that one they wrote that Jesus wasn't the Messiah yet the Quran calls Jesus the Messiah so that contradicts the Quran too. :)

I don`t cherry pick anything. I study both the Bible and the Quraan too.

You do cherry pick... otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation in the first place. Quran also cherry picks which is why it miserably fails...

At the end of the day you won`t be taking any Holy book with you to the next level. The only thing you cannot change from within is your inner path. Does not matter what a person believes in or not in they are only going in one direction and that is back to their creator.

It DOES matter what a person believes in or not. Our beliefs determine our actions. It is utter ignorance to claim that it doesn't matter what a person believes in or not.

A prophet and the son of God.

But not God.? Right?.., Are we not also children (Sons and daughters of God)?

We all are sons and daughters of God.

Not really. At least not according to the Quran.

But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination. https://quran.com/5/18

Can you confirm the truth?

Then as your human duty.
Confirm the tidings and spread the truth.
From pole to pole!

I work for the messiah in flesh today. And the closest thing humanity has to prove his is the shroud of Turin.
