For many people, peace only means going out into the streets in complete freedom, without a mishap occurring, for others, peace is when their country is not at war, or under military conflicts with another nation, and it is not wrong to think So, it is the physical concept of peace, it is what we have been taught in schools and how the dictionary defines it. But you know, you can be in the battlefield and feel peace in your heart, since peace does not depend on how physical or external things are turned, peace depends on living trusting in God and he is the only one who can give it to our heart.
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal. Isaiah 26:3-4
Peace can be lost for any reason, thinking about what I'm going to eat, what I'm going to wear, what I can go out on and something can happen to me, what they're going to say about me or what they're thinking about me, listening to bad news from the radio or TV, etc., all this can disturb you and being disturbed is the opposite of having peace.
The scripture says that to all who trust in God, he will keep it in perfect peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding.
When we trust we are sure that he cares for us, that nothing will happen because the almighty God sustains us with his right hand. Trust him, because he has thoughts of peace and not evil for us and his purposes for our life are always blessings and life, never for curse and loss.
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
