THE FIRST PHASE (the creating of man)
Genesis 1:26-27
[26]Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
[27]So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
God is a spirit and so when God said let us make man(human) in our image, he was creating the Spirit man which is the real man. This is the reason why man can relate to God.
John 4
[24]For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”
Man won't have been able to worship God in spirit if man wasn't a spirit being.
The most interesting thing is that the Spirit man was created with words how powerful.
John 6
[63]The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.
THE SECOND PHASE (the forming of man)
Genesis 2
[7]Then the lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.
The second phase of man creation is called the forming of man. For man to function in the earth, man needed to be connected to the earth. So man was formed from the dust of the ground.
The forming of the man was the first and the last as other human beings proceeded out of a man.
Genesis 2:7,21-22
[7]Then the lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.
[21]So the lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the lord God took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening.
[22]Then the lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man.
The man and the woman was blessed by God to be fruitful and multiply and so has it been as human beings have filled the face of the earth.
