HOW GREAT IS YOUR FAITH (Christian Book project)

A Woman is a blessings from God to man, in (Genesis 2:18-23 KJV) And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Now, Adam recognised that blessing from God even though he never appreciated or gave thanks to God for the blessing. The woman supported Adam to manage and control the authority's delegated him. In Genesis 3:20(KJV) And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. She was responsible in the fighting of Faith, Eve was a great woman of Faith. Yes she was, you may think, you have never come across such world in the Bible but remember, when they where thrown out of the Garden of Eden by God, what did she do? Question
#1, was she able to cope with the new life?
#2, How did she overcome her challenge?
#3 She gave give birth twice, she faced difficulties.

#SARAH
Sarah the mother of many nations, the wife of Abraham gave birth to Isaac. Sarah was barren for many years, even the nature knew at her age she could not give birth but she received rhema from God with her faith backed up with the word of God she conceived. I wouldn't want to go into details because this is a common story we all know.

THE MESSAGE OF FAITH BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
A clear understanding and communication of the message of faith is important, because faith is a principle by which we live in the Kingdom of God. The Bible says, “…the just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17). It shows you just how important faith is. You can’t understand and apply your righteousness in Christ without faith.

#HANNAH
Hannah was beloved by her husband Elkena even though she was barren. I would digress a little, #HUSBAND'S PLEASE LOVE YOUR WIFE IRRESPECTIVE OF THE SITUATIONS.# The love her husband demonstrated contributed to her great faith. Anytime I come across her prayers, I learn something new. The last lesson I learnt was, a promise to God in prayer requests, she got her request and gave God her promise.

In (Samuel 1:10-16) And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the Lord , that Eli marked her mouth. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee. And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord . Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.

SIX things I learnt from Hannah's prayer

  1. Her spirit was bittered meaning her heart was ready to receive answers. it is now or never.
  2. She poured her heart to the Lord in prayers
  3. She made a vow, that is seed sowing
  4. She spent quality time praying with out shouting but her mouth was moving.
  5. She got an answer and
  6. She kept to her vow to the Lord of Hosts
