CONTROLLING NEGATIVE THINKING

It is a popular saying that:

the world in which we live in today has its ups and downs which, directly or indirectly can be said that the world is made of ups and downs.

The good of the world are referred to as the ups, while the bad of the world are referred to as the downs. However, these are solely products of our thoughts; our positive thinking births the ups and our negative thinking equally births the downs.

The downs of the world are most times and solely as a result of uncontrolled negative thinking. Hold on, it is 'uncontrolled negative thinking' and not just 'negative thinking'. This implies that negative thinking are bound to raise their ugly heads, but when they do, they are not meant to be entertained, but controlled.

It is important to know and state that the two (2) common products (results) of negative thinking are fear and failure; where fear abides, failure is most times inevitable.

Negative thinking do no stop as thoughts, they graduate to become actions. Control them lest they control and dominate your life.

Negative thinking are sometimes 'inspired' as a result of the friends you keep and move with. Control them lest they control and dominate your life.

Negative thinking will make you a negative entity. Control them lest they control and dominate your life.

Negative thinking 'converts' virtually all positive potentials and presents negative ones before you. Control them lest they control and dominate your life.

Negative thinking is a tool that aids the manipulation and destruction of destinies. Control them lest they control, dominate, manipulate and destroy your destiny and life.

How then are negative thinking controlled?.

• Be wary of the conversations you involve yourself in.
• Do not allow the thoughts of your past failure creep into your present life, it is the starting point of negative thinking, and it will only birth a higher degree of failure
• Substitute pessimism (negativity) for optimism (positivity)
• Initiate positive discussions at all times
• Desert (leave) places where only the bad of life are being discussed
• Be hardworking
• Believe that all which you have cannot be all

Dear reader, if you truly understand the power embedded in negative thinking, you will desist from it. Remember what the Holy Bible says: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." - Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

God's thoughts for you are those of peace. Why will a creature deliberately negate the positive thoughts of the Creator?

How many ups have you birthed?
Have downs have you birthed also?
Control negative thinking lest it controls and dominate your life.
