In this world of turmoil and chaos it seems that we are distracted from reaching our true potential because we do not silence ourselves to listen to our inner spirit or the spirit of God. It is good to be still an know. Often when I am quiet an still is when my best thoughts and creativity speaks. I am inspired in the silence of me. I hear most clearly when I let the quiet touch my soul and allow God to speak.
Here is a beautiful and inspiring recreation of the old hymn 'Be Still My Soul' performed in 2017 by an a Capella men's group. It is fresh and inspiring to hear and I stumbled upon it tonight. This great hymn was first written in German in 1752 by Katharina Amalia Dorothea von Schlegel The hymn was translated into English in 1855 by Jane Laurie Borthwick. This great church hymn is also commonly known as the Finlandia Hymn (National song of Finland).
Sit back and let God speak to you as you enjoy this music video of some fine gentlemen as they sing 'Be Still My Soul.'
Thanks for listening. Feel free to comment, upVote or resteem! - Blessings - Troy
