Family Circus poses a wonderful question. As a parent what would you say? We know that God has the ultimate power. Thought we encourage our children to believe in Santa, are we doing them any service by giving him such power? Yet sometimes we treat God like Santa. God is not Santa. He does not grant every wish. There is normally three possible answers. Yes. No. or Not now. God is watching and has his eye on you. Do you have you eyes on Him?
I would encourage you open the best Christmas gift ever. You will not find it under a tree or in a gift card. It will not be wrapped with shinny paper or tied with a bow. It will be so much better. It is the gift of eternal life. Jesus offers that to us and it can be yours to receive this Christmas. Ask Him into your heart and claim your gift of eternal life in heaven beside the one who truly love you enough to die for you in your place. Embrace a relationship with Christ today. I pray you let Him give you the best gift ever this Christmas.
I apologize for the condition of the old cartoon. It has been in my files for many years.
