Great meanings of elements in the Bible

Something I admire about the Bible is its power and truthfulness.

In the Old Testament we read about five types of sacrifices (Leviticus 1-5): offer for guilt, sin, peace, holocaust and grain. The first four were blood offerings; the fifth, on the other hand, did not contain blood, because the offer of cereal is a magnificent image for the holy and immaculate life of Jesus. Our Lord Jesus did not need blood of reconciliation for himself, since he could say: "Which of you can accuse me of some sin?" (John 8.46).

A component of the supply of cereals is flour, wheat flour, bread. This flour serves as an image for the intimate being of Jesus. The flour has an aspect of softness, because the hardness has been eliminated. The hard grains of the wheat were crushed in the mill, they were ground. With this productive process everything becomes "harmonized". It is a figure for Jesus Christ, in which there was no hard temper. He never imposed himself harshly, but said: "... learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart" (Matthew 11.29).

That's why Jesus did not have ego disturbances. He was not proud and did not suffer from the inferiority complex. He was perfectly balanced, and God wants you to be just like your Son is. He has a very specific goal for those who follow Jesus with all their hearts, that is,

Thus, we must become equal to him and learn from him. This learning, however, is painful, immensely painful, because we are placed in the mill and start the grinding process. Many times I have heard the children of God complaining about their bad neighbors, about family members, even about their own spouse. And many times I needed to respond that those "bad" people were very necessary in their life, because there was still a lot of hardness in their vision and in their being, and so there was little visible thing about Jesus in their life -that is, there was still no flour ! Each child of God should be grateful to God for the difficult and unjust people that he puts in his way, so that it may be transformed according to the image of Jesus.

The flour has an aspect of softness, because the hardness has been eliminated. It is a figure for Jesus Christ, in which there was no hard temper.
Love those who most oppress you with the greatest care, for they do what you can not do for yourself. They are instruments in the hand of God, they are the stones of the mill that mold all the hardness of their life. This is painful, but it is vitally important. It is no coincidence that the Bible exhorts us so many times and so seriously to our sanctification.

Stagnation in faith always means backsliding. The Bible clearly says: "Strive to live in peace with everyone and to be holy, without holiness no one will see the Lord" (Hebrews 12.14).

When God speaks in his Word, he does so with shocking seriousness. God is not just for the sinner only, but for the believer. The one who here chooses the quietest way, with least resistance, on the other side will certainly be scared, because God does not respect people. He who does not set out to follow the way of Jesus, the way of the cross, will never be able to enter into glory. "The way of the cross leads to the home", and only by means of the cross.
