A while ago I found that text on the internet. I have not been able to discover which is the author, but in a very peculiar way that text has accompanied me in the processes that I have lived. He usually resurfaces in my memories when I am in a situation of conflict, or when I think I am stuck and nothing has happened in my life.
Have you felt this way?
Are you going to spend some old folders on the computer, guess just? I have rediscovered the text. I hope it helps you in some way, how you helped me!
"Serving God is sometimes like standing on a traffic sign that seems to be floating in the red, although you know where you want to go and when you want to get there, while the signal remains red you have to stand and wait, wait, wait and wait a little longer.
While other apurrífiros smell the red lighthouse and pass from your ladinho to million, you ask yourself: 'how am I a fool, because I can not disobey and pierce this lighthouse?' The people behind you horn impatiently, encouraging you to strike the beacon of WAIT in GOD. Maybe you are trying to do this, in the end you would not have to wait that long like that.
Sometimes in our lives the most difficult thing that God will ask of us is that we stand in the headlights of human existence, waiting for the day to see the wonderful green signal on. The schedule of God is not the same as ours, so in some moments we will have to change some expectations, stay a little longer in that job that does not seem so good, break relationships, establish new alliances, go beyond the human forces to do the God's work.
WAITING IN GOD will demand that you in fact believe that God's plans are BETTER than yours and that He is actively working in your life, mainly in the moments that surpass you, leave you behind and feel defeated, and also when they stimulate you to move forward without God's direction.
But this is one of the tenuous lines that separates Christians from Christians: The predisposition to obey without understanding, to believe without indications of victory, to love God for what He is and not for what He can give you.
"Wait for the Lord, he encourages you, and he will strengthen your heart, so wait for the Lord" (Psalm 27.14)
