Love: the essence of Christ death on the cross

Lord Jesus,

I am grateful for your love shown to us and to all mankind. Leaving your heavenly abode, bearing our guilts, shames and sins for the redemption of all. That for as many that believe in your coming, death and resurrection shall be saved from every form of slavery to self and from the slavery of sin.

One things standeth sure in all of this; and that is your love for me, my beloveds and for all. That first love from the very beginning of creation. That boundless love that knows no limit. That agape love that transcend beyond tribes and nations, high and low birth, nobles and slaves with no strings attached. That love in the purest form seeking for our salvation at your expense.

Today,we remember your death on the cross of calvary, where you went in my place. A task I could never have accomplished on my own. You paid the price you did not owe. The one without sin was made sin. You became the sacrificial lamb that was slain for my freedom. Today, you took my fears and shames away.

You took way the walls of partition between us and the Father. Today, you completed the second chance plan of redemption. You became the eternal bridge to reaching the Father. Today, you died that all the believeth might have life in abundance.

Oh... what an amazing grace!
What shall separate me from the loveof the Father......
