Walking in the Word: Do the talking and let God do the Convincing.

Beloved of God, welcome to another Sunday in the month of March. Today, we will briefly look at the message: Walking in the Word.

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Matthew 28:18-20

On thing is so certain that we as believers have been given the great mandate to go out into the world and preach the good news of Christ to all creation. For there is no greater way to show love for another fellow than sharing the love we have received from Christ unto others.

It is one thing to go out and carry out the mandate, It is another thing for God to fulfill his promise of the mandate by giving us the authority needed to demonstrate His might and power.

When Jesus had called the twelve together, he gave them power ad authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and He sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Luke 9:1-2

As believers, we should always strive to preach the gospel of Christ with demonstrations of the Spirit's power as promised by Jesus. When the Holy Spirit empowers our preaching, no one can explain its impact and influence.

A sermon delivered under the human ability lasts for but a moment, but one sermon delivered under the Spirit's power last for eternity.

It takes the ministering of the Holy Spirit to convince, break and reform the mind of a sinful heart.
