NEED FOR HONOURING MEN OF GOD
-In these last days, genuine ministers of God are in few. So it takes high level of sensitivity to distinguish fake from real. There are many benefits in receiving servants of God Hos 12:13
Matthew 10:41 says "He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward." by today's anchor scripture, it's emphatically clear that your approach towards any anointed servant of God irrespective of age, determines what you'll receive. The woman in the Bible received her preservation because she honored Elisha 2 kings 4:1-7
Hebrews 13:7 says "Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation." give to your pastors, mentors or anyone that blesses you with God's word physical gifts or monetary seeds to remain blessed 2 Chron 20:20
CONCLUSION...
They fight battles that if you were to be the one in their shoes, you would have died longer ago
Observing of spiritual activities like fasting and prayers is not easy and conducive, so respect them
The unique grace of God upon their lives speaks in your life when you hold them of high esteem
No matter their mistakes or errors, never talk bad against anionted ministers. The oil will fight you
The sacrifices they made in past to be where they are today via hunger, lack, pain and failure, is not easy!
The more you say good things about them to others, the more their grace rubs off on you
Because of their covenant with God, the word, prophecies or prayers they made to you always comes to pass
Pray to God that God should strengthen and comfort them because they receive attack from Satan nonstop
They may be younger than you, but respect the anointing of God upon their lives to not be flogged by God himself
You won't be able to bear the persecution, pain, criticism or accusations they receive. So honor them
To manifest the power of God via deliverance, healing, breakthrough or miracles is a joke. So don't take it for granted
Their intercessory prayers and supplications to God over everyone of their disciple, will be seen in your life if you truly believe in their grace
NOTE: This necessarily is not solely to pastors or preachers but to music ministers also. Because they are related to you by blood, church, fellowship or work doesn't mean you should dishonor and be familiar with them!!. Their sacrifices are too much to be ignored!!
PRAYER: Dear God help me to honor your servants and not be over familiar with them in Jesus name.
