Good day great steemians. Today I'll be talking to us about waiting on God. I have come to the realization that many Christians are so impatient. If they expected God to do something but God didn't do it as at that time the wanted it done; they opt to using several means to get it which lands them into grievous problems. What they fail to know is that God knows better. God knows when it is best to do a particular thing for His children. All He expects us to do is wait patiently on Him. Don't compromise your faith.

In one way or the other, it all backs down to maturity in the faith. When you have grown and matured spiritually, you will then know that it is pertinent to wait on God. Here is a post I believe will be helpful to us;_

What Does It Mean To Wait On God?

Waiting on God entails trusting and believing that God will turn every ugly situation in your life around for good. It talks about not compromising and wavering in the faith. Waiting on God means trusting in God in totality. It is the ability to stand and still hold on to God despite the sufferings that may come our way.

Waiting on God does not mean being idle. It does not mean you sitting down and doing nothing. Instead, it means you not stepping out of God's guidelines and norms in getting and obtaining positive results. The book of Isaiah chapter 48:27 says "Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God that teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go".

What most people fail to take cognizance of is the fact that there is always a way out of every bad predicaments and circumstances. To wait on God in this context means to endure hardship for a while until your change comes just like Job did.

IF YOU CANNOT WAIT, YOU WASTE!!

God is not a Methodist but He has different ways of operation which contradicts the way the world operates in solving problems. One of the ways is by you waiting. Not waiting in idleness but busy serving the Lord. You ought to serve God as it is also a sign of waiting and also because it comes with blessings.

Hebrews 6:10-15, "For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye gave shown toward His name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every of you do show diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promise. For when God made promise. For when God made promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no greater, He swear by Himself, saying, surely blessing I will bless ythee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. "

Are you waiting for the fruit of the womb, fruit of your labour in ministry, in business, in career, in your academics or for your children to grow up to make your old age a memorable one? Keep patiently waiting for God who is faithful will visit you at the time appointed.

DON'T GET YOUR MIND COMPLICATED. WAIT ON THE LORD PATIENTLY FOR YOUR RESULTS. OUR PRAYER SHOULD BE THAT GOD WILL GIVE US THE GRACE TO WAIT ON HIM.
