Does Jesus really love me? Does He really care?
We measure our love to our family by providing them their needs and giving them a life in abundance. But Spiritually, the best measuring tool for love is "FORGIVENESS.. It is the measuring rod of love in the life of a true Christian. That's how Jesus showed His love. He forgives everyone who calls on His name. ***
Ask your self, Do I love ? If you don't, you are not of God. Because everyone who is claiming He loves God, loves others. The hardest thing that we can do is loving our enemy. Doing it on our own is a struggle but if we use the love that comes from God, we can do it. Loving our enemy is forgiveness.
1 John 4:7-8 King James Version (KJV) 7 Beloved, let us love one
another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God,
and knoweth God.8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
How will you know you are characterized by love? Ask your self.
*** Am I bitter toward someone because of something He did to me?
*** Do I often get angry with people?
*** Do I speak maliciously behind people's back?
These are the characteristics that remind us of our old nature. Characteristics we must get rid of in order to LOVE and FORGIVE others..
