Good thoughts there.
I think that so many get the impression that following the Lord means all troubles go away and life becomes easy. That there aren't any battles.
In actuality, it is quite possible it becomes more difficult. But the thing is that having Jesus with us gives us the ability to never let those troubles get the best of us. With Him, we can navigate every obstacle and challenge if we choose to stay close.
