1 Samuel 13:8 (KJV)
And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.
My Bible captions this passage as “Saul’s Unlawful Sacrifice.”
The passage is about leadership:
Saul is an anointed leader
Samuel is a God called leader but
God is the only true leader
Saul, seeing that the people were scattered and having lost confidence in Samuel (he was late) took upon himself a function that did not belong to him. He was, because of this, disqualified from office (though he appeared to still possess it for years to come).
I think our world is in this shape today. Many have determined that the God called preachers aren’t getting the job done well enough. They see that the people are scattered so they have taken upon themselves to devise their own plans to give them assurance and leadership. These self appointed leaders have done foolishly. While it may seem that they have been successful, they have disqualified themselves and will meet judgment in God’s time.
God is never late. He is not slack and neither are His preachers. They just serve in a different timeframe than that of the world.
Trust God. He knows what He is doing.

Yes, Divine Timing is always and perpetually present. The Crux lies in the fact that we increasingly overlook it the more we are in alignment with our Ego/thinking mind.
Trusting the process, all will fall perfectly into place in just the nick of time. :)

Waiting on the Lord is hard at times. But the reward is great if we have the patience.

Patience is, I believe, the only Christian virtue that cannot be attained in heaven. We have to go through trials to get it. :-0

I agree and those trials are not fun while you are going through them. God has taught me patients many times. I am grateful. I just hope i learned my lesson;)
