Ecclesiastes 5:1 (KJV)
Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
I’m thinking of the sacrifice of fools in the house of God. There are those who attend services of worship but, they do not “keep thy foot” or tread lightly, carefully, and with forethought. They do and say things, even in the house of God, which is evil.
Evil is an evil thing. How much more it is evil when it is done in God’s house.
We ought all be quick to be in attendance at God’s house
We ought never to allow our attendance to be so commonplace that we forget the awesome nature of it
